okay so he pictured it this way...
his soul has two able guards who questioned anything that wanted entry to the purest conscious stuff....the two guards were the two opposites...love and hate, happy bhai and sad bhai and so on.

when stuff like dukha wanted to gain an entry,,love( its opposite) should ideally be asking the questions. but now due to the excessively insipid corruption ,,hate is asking the questions. when love used to ask the questions, he used to lovably merge the questioner into himself. this created no agitation. But now that hate was asking the questions, there was no 'merging'. It was plain simply agitation. on agitation, there was repulsion, and repulsion always left behind some pieces of dukkha still lurking around asking the same questions. these then turned into memories and started all kinds of weird conditioning that caused layers upon layers of protection,,all corrupted.

Similarly when sukkha wanted an entry pass to the conscience, hate shuld ideally ask the questions. It should ask and deny entry that is by way of merging. but we let love corrupt it more, causing instant gratification but which left behind layers and layers of attachment ; which in turn became memories.

To solve all this, he just needeed to understand all this, he needed to understand plain simply to test everything that he does with the opposite, and then merge it into the opposite, not really letting them through , but making them understand that they now form a part of the whole.

like when i write stuff like that, i shuld truly be letting detachment ask questions like "is the ego involved" or perhaps "is the reader prepared for this?"

i still call this intellectual brainfart though. because words cannot describe it.
